Joe MacDonald Music
Welcome To The Joe MacDonald Music Website

Joe MacDonald has been playing for fans for over 40 years. He started out in the late 60's as a solo performer and then due to job constraints was forced to put the career on hold. Later in the mid 70's formed the Paddys Mead Trio with fiddle player Billy Hardy and banjo bass man Treavor Peterson. The group played well into the early 2000s. They were the original house band at Clancy's and Michael Patrick's Pubs as well as many other venues.

With his folk style and classic sound, he and his guitar have been making the rounds all over Cape Cod, and the North East. Joe is known to cover traditional Irish tunes as well as popular folk classics. His first love is song writing, which he does in his limited free time. His 1st CD, And Evening With Joe MacDonald currently sold out and awaiting a reprinting has been enjoyed by many. Joe is currently working on a second CD release.
